Q: How long have you been photographing weddings?
A: I'm a relative new to the world of wedding photography having been shooting since 2013 as a full time professionally. Before that I did a lot of shoots for friends and family. I do believe I provide a fresh approach and high standard of service.


Q: How many weddings do you shoot per year?
A: I average 25 weddings per calendar year.

Q: Can you hold a date for a wedding before the booking deposit is paid?
A: Unfortunately due to the number of inquiries that we receive and the amount of clients that we have to turn away due to being booked in advance, I am afraid that we cannot hold any date until a deposit has been paid, even if you have already organised or had a meeting with us.

Q: How many weddings do you photograph in one day?
A: We only photograph one wedding per day.

Q: We are getting married in 18 months, when do I book?
A: In all honesty ASAP!! I only shoot one wedding per day and summer months are often the first to go. If you want to book, I require a £150 booking fee to secure your date.

Q: How do we book you for our wedding?
A: To book a wedding date we ask you to sign a photography contract and pay a deposit fee of £150.

Q: How many weddings do you photograph in one day?

Q: When do we pay the final balance for the photography?
A: We require the remaining balance to be paid one week before your wedding day.

Q: If we cancel our wedding photography contract do we lose the booking deposit?
A: Unfortunately if you cancel the wedding photography contract you will lose the deposit.

Q: If our wedding date is changed, would you be able to adjust to the new date?
A: If your date changes please contact us ASAP. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we will be available as we book up anywhere from 2 years in advance.

Q. If we change the date and you are unavailable do we get our deposit refunded?
A. Unfortunately as we may have turned away other clients for that day we cannot refund any deposits.

Q: On our wedding day how many locations can be covered?
A: As many as you can fit into your time allocation for photography.

Q: Do you take group photographs?
A: Yes, however we ask you to keep these to a minimum so we can concentrate on the creativity of your wedding day as it unfolds.

Q: Can you work with a photo checklist for the group shoots created by us?
A: Yes, we recommend making and following a checklist however we usually ask you to designate two members of your bridal party to assist with this process as they will be more familiar with friends and family names. We ask you to keep this to a minimum as you won't want to be standing having your photograph taken for the whole hour and half drinks reception.

Q: What happens after we book?
A: I will send you a pack of information and arrange to meet up with you as soon as possible over a drink so that we can have a nice chat about your day, get some details about timings etc and arrange to meet up again before the big day!

Q: Do you offer engagement shoots?
A: I certainly do, totally free, as part of any wedding package.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: I use Canon Professional cameras and lenses. I always carry at an additional back up camera.

Q: How many images will I receive of the day?
A: Generally around 300-500 depending on if you are having a full or a half day service. On average we take 50 images per hour. For example, for a 6 hours wedding we will will take between 300 and 400 photos

Q: How long will it take to see our images?
A: Your images will be available in the online gallery to you within six weeks of your wedding day. A selection of your images will posted online within 48 hours of your day.

Q: How long does it take for the final product to be ready?
A: The wedding preview images are ready approximately ten weeks after the wedding. The final wedding book is ready approximately 6 weeks after you sign off the wedding book proof.

Q: To what size can the images be enlarged with good photo quality?
A: The images can be enlarged up to 36 x 24 with good photo quality.

Q: Who owns the copyright of the photographs after the wedding?
A: The copyright of the wedding photographs belong to the photographer, however the bride and the groom have the right to use the images for personal use including printing and web sharing.

Q: Can we order prints directly from you?
A: Yes, you can order your images directly from the online gallery or my completing an order form.
Q: Can we order albums and thank you photo cards if you were not our wedding photographer?
A: Yes, all post productions services are available to clients who have the right to use their wedding photographs.

Q: How many images go into our album?
A: Every album in unique and personalised to you.  I always advise my couples to choose between 30-50 main images for their album I.e. Images of people, and I try to make the rest of the album up with the details that really tell the story of the day. Typically the finished album has around 120 images in it.

Q: Are we going to see the design of the layout of the magazine style album before it is printed?
A: Yes, we encourage your input with the design and layout of your wedding book.
